Job Overview:
- Manage and maintain the organization’s network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
- Ensure network security by implementing and monitoring security measures and protocols.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with IT team members to plan and execute network upgrades and improvements.
- Conduct regular network performance monitoring and optimization.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, both physical and virtual.
- Perform server upgrades, patches, and updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Monitor server health, resource utilization, and backup systems to prevent data loss
- Implement disaster recovery plans and backup strategies
- Lead and participate in IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate project resources, including team members and external vendors.
- Monitor project progress and report status to management.
- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, server setups, and project plans.
- Generate regular reports on network and server performance, project status, and IT KPIs.
- Ensure that all IT processes and procedures are well-documented and up-to-date.
- Provide technical support to end-users, resolving IT-related issues and inquiries.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of user accounts, email systems, and software applications.
- Collaborate with the IT helpdesk to ensure timely problem resolution.
- Other duties as required.
Hours of Work:
- On-site, Monday to Friday, Straight Days 7:30AM to 4:00PM
Skills & Qualifications:
- College or University Degree in the related field OR a minimum of 3 years of equivalent work experience
- Proven experience in network administration and server management
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to lead and coordinate projects
- Proficiency in networking protocols, server operating systems, and virtualization technologies
- Familiarity with IT security best practices and compliance standards
- Excellent problem-solving and trouble shooting abilities
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of networking monitoring and management tools
- Industry 4.0 knowledge
