Salary Range:
- $59, 000 – $80, 000 per year
Hours of Work:
- On-Site, Monday to Friday – (7:30AM to 4:00PM)

Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Human Resources Manager, responsible for the day-to-day effective administration of the benefits and pension programs, including RRSP/Pension, and group insurance (Desjardins), WSIB.
Job Overview:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to STD and LTD benefits, providing clear and accurate information regarding eligibility, claims processes, and benefit entitlements.
- Manage day-to-day oversight of disability claims, ensuring timely communication and resolution of issues with the insurer, including tracking claim statuses and facilitating necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement policies and procedures related to disability benefits, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Assist in the management of a workplace accommodations process for employees.
- Liaise with managers/supervisors to support the accommodation process.
- Provide support and guidance to employees regarding health benefit options, enrollment processes, and claims inquiries, ensuring a high level of customer service.
- Monitor and analyze health benefits utilization and trends, making recommendations for improvements or changes to benefit offerings as needed.
- Support training initiatives on key topics related to health benefits, wellbeing programs, and pension program.
- Support the development of regular training initiatives, leveraging opportunities and insights found through day-to-day support on the benefit programs.
- Provide support and guidance to employees regarding pension options, enrollment processes, ensuring a high level of customer service.
- Actively promote and facilitate navigation of employee wellbeing programs, ensuring employees are aware of available resources and support, including mental health services, fitness programs, and work-life balance initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement new wellbeing initiatives that align with employee needs and organizational goals.

What You Need:
- Post-Secondary Education in a related field
- Minimum of 3 years Human Resources experience in unionized manufacturing environment is preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Pension and Benefit administration
- Benefits Administration Certificate is preferred
- Punjabi as a second language an asset
- Proficient with Microsoft Office computer software and HRIS systems
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
- Must maintain highest level of confidentiality
- CEBS designation an asset

- Primarily Office Environment, May be required to walk in plant occasionally
