Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday – 7:30AM – 4:00PM
Position Summary:
Reporting to Quality Assurance Metalforming Technical Support, be able to use desktop with Microsoft Office to support technical project and administrative tasks.
Position Responsibilities:
- Performs duties to repair and maintain metalforming Quality Control fixtures
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, detect, order and replace defective parts, test and make adjustments to Quality Control Fixtures
- Perform regular preventative maintenance
- Follows all safety requirements – PPE (hat, glasses, steel-toed boots, uniform, hearing protections, gloves, etc), safe job behaviours, etc.
- Other duties as assigned
What You Need:
- Enrolled in engineering co-operative education in a post-secondary school
- Hands on experience in automotive parts manufacturing environment is preferred but not required
- Have a basic theoretic understanding of the following:
– GD&T
– Metal Stamping processes
– Inspection Fixtures
- Ability to read and understand operations standards, blueprints, maintenance and equipment manuals, etc
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Teams, and Project)
- Strong mechanical understanding
- Strong written and verbal communication
- May be required to lift up to 40 lbs on occasions

- Plant Environment
- May be exposed to dust, odors, noise, smoke, etc.
