*NEW WAGE EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2024: $32.65-37.15 per hour + shift premiums + bonuses
Hours of Work:
- Straight Afternoons
Monday to Friday – (3:00PM to 11:00PM)
Job Overview:
- Perform highly diversified duties to repair and maintain building and production mechanical systems
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, detect and replace defective parts, test and make adjustments to automated production equipment.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on plant facilities and production equipment.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools.
- Other duties as assigned to ensure up-time of automated production equipment, etc
What You Need:
- Industrial Mechanic Millwright (433A) and/or Construction Millwright (426A) Certificate of Qualification. Applicants with prior work experience as a millwright apprentice will be considered.
- Experience in trouble shooting and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, HVAC systems, etc
- Able to read and understand operation standards, blue prints, maintenance and equipment manuals
Work Environment:
- Plant environment
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Regularly exposed to dust, odors, noise, smoke, etc.
- Regularly required to be exposed to outside weather/elements
- Regularly required to work at heights and in confined spaces
