SALARY BAND: $52, 316 – $61, 547 per year
Hours of Work:
- Straight Days
On-Site, Monday to Friday – (7:30AM to 4:00PM)
Job Overview:
- Accounts payable processing and posting journal entries to general ledger
- Process internal check requests
- Month end close activities
- Monthly accounts reconciliation
- Maintain archived Accounting Department document records manually and electronically
- Frequently verify accuracy of data process through AP automated system
- Support users with required training in the process
- Coordinate AP automation service provider and F&P team as required
- Non-trade invoicing
- Other duties as required.
What You Need:
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting with 2-5 years’ experience
- Proficiency with Excel and Work and have experience using an Accounting/Manufacturing software system (ERP system)
- Experience with Accounts payable (AP) automation systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics, Yooz, Sage Intact would be an asset
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and team skills
- Working towards a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation would be an asset
