Hours of Work:
- Monday to Friday, Straight Days 7:30AM to 4:00PM
Compensation:
This position offers competitive compensation band of $65,000 to $75,000/annually based on experience and qualifications.
Job Overview:
Reporting to the Die Engineering Manager/Assistant Manager. Work with other New Model members and production personnel to develop and review process plans for die development for new model launches.
- Develop process plans for stamping dies process for New Model launches
- Control project investment for the dies purchases
- Review and apply best manufacturing processes
- Develop and control plan for die manufacture and implementation to mass production
- Prepare documents and present to upper management
- Communicate with internal departments and outside vendors
- Support to the production departments in process improvements and Kaizen activities
- Other duties and responsibilities as required
What you Need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field with 3 years manufacturing experience or,
- 5 years experience in manufacturing processes with Technologist Diploma
- Tool and Die Maker with 10 years die improvement and troubleshooting experience
- Hands on experience in stamping dies manufacturing and coordination skills
- Able to travel and work flexible hours
