*NEW WAGE EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2024: $32.65-$37.15 per hour + shift premiums + bonuses
Hours of Work:
- Bi-weekly Rotating Shifts
Monday to Friday – (2 weeks on days – 7:00AM to 3:00PM, 2 weeks on afternoons – 3:00PM to 11:00PM)
Job Overview:
- Use of various equipment/tools to create and repair tooling, including, but not limited to, grinders, welding equipment, machining equipment, overhead cranes, and etc
- Support stamping operations and troubleshoot production problems
- Prepare and load/set up the raw material or die sections in the machine
- Program/Run CNC code from provided CAD data using Mastercam
- Interact with CAD specialist/Toolmakers to refurbish/improve/build spares
- Maintain equipment by completing PMs and calling for repair if required
- Support and mentor junior CNC operators
What You Need:
- Licensed Machinist and/or Tool and Die Maker
- 2-5 years of previous work experience in a high volume, automated stamping environment
- Hands-on experience with various stamping operations (e.g., transfer, progressive, blanking) would be an asset
- Proficient reading blueprints and sketches
- Experience with 3/5 axis CNC operation and programming
- Knowledge of Solidworks, Mastercam or Edgecam and AutoCAD software
- Proficient with Okuma, Siemens and Heidenhain CNC controls
